Temperatures are falling, weather is starting to get worse. I know that my time this year with the truck is limited. I will make a post later asking for advice on storage for both the truck and ST.
I am trying to take my wife and I on as many dates as possible in it. Today we went to a winery/orchard and out for lunch.
A new grey ram also parked in front of me in Fort Langley. I thought it was kinda neat even though the photo isn’t great.

I recall Tom & Ray saying plug the tailpipe so no animals get in, drain the tank if you can, and make sure it moves every few weeks to keep the tires from flat-spotting. Other than that, maybe start it every few weeks to make sure it’s still working? And make sure the interior is dry so nothing grows ...

Your Ram is much prettier than the new one.

Winter is coming? It was 88 today in VA and the only winter thing about it is it got dark at 7pm

It’s sat uncovered and unmoved for 25 years of it’s life. 10 of those with these tires...
Unfortunately it is going to have to be outside and mostly unmoved

2WD and like 50hp? Probably not

This is what first gear is for

Put it on blocks so the tires are off the ground

Fuel stabilizer! And... if there’s any kind of draw, disconnect the battery.
For my ‘61 I put in stabilizer and... that’s it. Tires don’t leak, battery doesn’t draw. I literally just turn the key in the spring after I make sure there isn’t a rodent nest somewhere.

The size difference is what gets me. It's crazy

Yeah, I'd not added fuel stabilizer before. Probably a big mistake

I put stabilizer directly into the gas can I use to fill my mower, and any other small engines. I start adding stabilizer to the fuel tank of the truck around columbus day because I figure, you never know when it might snow (and thus, roads get salted) and the season is over for the truck.

For real. N
ew trucks are HUGE.

Columbus day? I had to Google that one. Close to Thanksgiving in Canada.
You don't have to worry about snow here at least, but the rain will make it pointless to drive.

I still refuse to run Rams thru the car wash at work. New trucks terrify me. They’re just too damn big.

Winter storage is easy. Ive done this with many cars and no issues.
Run Stabil in fuel system and pump tires up more that normal. Park vehicle and unhook battery.

Winter tires for the ST. Like I'm doing.

I don't drive the ST in winter or even much rain. It's a garage...well...carport queen

I don’t mind driving my truck in cold rain, partly because it’s always hot in the cab anyway. I can roll the windows down a little (or a lot) as needed.
Even snow, I wouldn’t mind. It’s the salt of course.
